Reporting directly to the Director of Sales (DOS), they are hands-on in prospecting, securing contracts, and hitting budgeted revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Solicit and close business in corporate transient, group, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments.
- Team Leadership: Assist the DOS in mentoring, training, and managing the day-to-day operations of the on-property sales team to ensure performance goals are met.
- Account Management: Build and nurture relationships with high-value clients, travel agents, and corporate accounts through sales calls, site inspections, and trade shows.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing, group performance, and market trends to adjust proactive sales efforts and positioning.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with the Front Office, Catering, and Revenue Management teams to execute events seamlessly and maximize RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room).
