Perform risk assessments before commencing any project, especially for the installation of CCTV, access control, or fire alarm systems.
Identify potential hazards associated with electrical work, heights, or confined spaces during the installation of systems.
Implement preventive measures to mitigate risks, ensuring safe working environments on-site.
Ensure that fire-fighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers, are available, maintained, and staff are trained to use them.
Ensure that the CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems are installed in a manner that adheres to safety standards.
Conduct regular safety training sessions for all employees, particularly those involved in fieldwork, on safety protocols and emergency responses
Develop safety manuals and guidelines specific to the installation and maintenance of the systems.
Proactively suggest improvements in both installation procedures and internal safety practices to enhance safety standards.
