Job Title: Import Operations Executive
Job Summary:
Responsible for handling day-to-day import operations, SAP updations, shipment tracking, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely import of fresh fruit/perishable consignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update Purchase Orders, GRPO, dispatch details, and ETA changes in SAP on a daily basis.
- Track import shipments and coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA, and logistics teams.
- Monitor vessel schedules, delays, container movements, and follow up on empty container returns.
- Check and maintain complete import documentation (BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, FSSAI, Phyto, etc.).
- Prepare and share daily/weekly MIS reports related to imports, GRPO pending, detention, and deliveries.
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of import operations, preferably for fresh fruits/perishables.
- Hands-on experience in SAP and good command over Excel.
- Understanding of shipping documents and customs procedures.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Commerce.
- 1 year of experience in import operations (Perishables/FMCG preferred).
