JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversee the daily maintenance operations within the machine shop.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for VMC, and HMC machines to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with the production department to ensure seamless operations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
- Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance technicians and staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct disciplinary actions if needed.
- Facilitate training and skill development for the team.
- Perform fault diagnosis and hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Address issues related to critical components such as spindles, ball screws, servo motors/drives, gearboxes, and lubrication systems.
- Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service engineers for specialized repairs or machine installations.
- Collaborate with production to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
- Use maintenance metrics (KPIs) to analyse performance and report to management.
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget, track expenses, and find cost savings.
- Oversee spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory to ensure availability.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting (e.g., Fanuc, Mitsubishi,). Controllers
- Implement continuous improvement practices like TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5S, and Kaizen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
