Role Objective
Uniathena is looking for an experienced AWS / Azure Server Support Engineer to provision, manage, monitor, secure, and support cloud infrastructure for multiple web and application projects. The role requires a hands-on infrastructure professional who can independently handle server setup, database provisioning, workload monitoring, deployment support, security hardening, patch management, performance optimization, and uptime management across production, staging, and development environments. The candidate should be reliable, accountable, and capable of supporting critical systems, including during off-hours when project or production requirements demand.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Provision and manage AWS & Azure infrastructure, configure VMs, networking, storage, firewalls, backups, and access controls, manage development, staging, and production environments

Setup, secure, monitor, and maintain MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, manage AWS RDS and Azure Database Services, Handle backups, restoration, user access, and performance troubleshooting

Support deployments for Angular, Laravel, .NET, PHP, Drupal, Node.js, REST APIs, MySQL, and MS SQL applications, configure IIS, Nginx, Apache, SSL certificates, environment variables, and application hosting

Monitor server health, database performance, application response times, and infrastructure availability, Configure alerts, maintain logs, optimize workloads, and support 99.99% uptime objectives

Support Jenkins pipelines, Git-based workflows, automated deployments, rollbacks, and release coordination.

Server hardening, patch management, IAM controls, firewall configuration, SSL/TLS, VPN, WAF, Cloud flare, DDoS mitigation, malware prevention, and security monitoring.
Preferred Experience & Skills

2-4 years of hands-on cloud/server administration experience

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
