About the Role
As an HR Generalist, you will drive execution across core people processes, including HR operations, recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.
This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role aimed at strengthening HR fundamentals. You will work closely with employees, managers and the HRBP to ensure seamless people operations and deliver a consistent, positive employee experience - ultimately fostering a strong workplace culture and improving eNPS.
Culture & Employee Engagement (Primary Focus)
- Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives and communication activities.
- Track participation, gather feedback, and share insights to improve program effectiveness.
First Point of Contact & Day-to-Day Operations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
- Support day-to-day HR operations including onboarding coordination, documentation, and record accuracy.
- Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Recruitment Support (Lower Priority for the next 3 months)
- Assist with interview coordination and candidate experience.
- Support offer rollout and pre-joining engagement as bandwidth allows.
Growth Areas (Exposure and Learning, Not Core Ownership)
- Performance management: support review cycle tracking and documentation.
- Policy and compliance: learn SOP implementation and basic audit support.
- Manager enablement: shadow guidance on HR processes and tools.

- A real-world exercise that helps us understand your approach to HR situations and problem-solving.
- In person Panel Discussion (Up to 2 hours)
- An interactive discussion with our panel to get to know each other better and explore how we can succeed together.

Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to focus on tasks, follow through and meet deadlines consistently
- High attention to detail and process orientation, with the ability to follow SOPs while identifying gaps or inconsistencies
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle employee queries, flag risks and escalate appropriately
- Basic understanding of employee relations, including handling sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
- Experience with Google Suite and HRMS software (Zoho People preferred)
