Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated NCLT Clerk to work in an advocate’s office and handle court-related clerical and filing work. The candidate should be familiar with basic legal procedures and comfortable working with case files, documentation, and court visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and filing of petitions, replies, affidavits, and applications in NCLT
Handling physical filing as well as e-filing on NCLT portal
Managing diary numbers, case status, and hearing dates
Visits to NCLT office for filing, defect clearance, and follow-ups
Drafting basic documents and formatting legal files
Coordinating with advocates, clients, and court staff
Maintaining and organizing case files and records
Tracking orders and uploading/downloading documents from NCLT website
Requirements:
Minimum qualification: Graduate
Basic knowledge of NCLT procedures, filing process, and documentation
Familiarity with e-filing system and court work
Good command of MS Word & basic Excel
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience:
Fresher with legal internship experience OR
6–2 years experience in NCLT/Legal Clerk work preferred
