Role Summary:
The Commercial Contracts Administrator & Customer Operations Lead is a critical operational role within Dyad's Sales & Commercial Operations function, reporting to the Chief Sales Officer. This individual is responsible for the hands-on administration and full lifecycle management of customer-facing commercial agreements — including contracts, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), amendments, and renewals — ensuring all documentation is accurate, properly approved, and operationally supported. The role requires a working familiarity with legal contract language, commercial terms, and basic procurement and vendor relationship practices, with the judgement to identify risks and engage Legal appropriately. The individual will actively use AI-powered tools to improve the speed, accuracy, and consistency of contract workflows. The ideal candidate brings a background in contracts administration or procurement, understands how CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes connect to commercial documentation, and has the cross-functional coordination skills to operate effectively across Sales, Finance, Delivery, and Legal leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Contracts Administration & Commercial Documentation
- Administer the full lifecycle of customer-facing commercial documents — including contracts, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), amendments, and renewals — from preparation and internal review through execution, storage, and renewal tracking.
- Ensure commercial terms, scope, pricing, timelines, responsibilities, and confidentiality obligations are accurately and completely reflected in all contractual documentation; apply working knowledge of legal contract language to identify ambiguities, risks, and gaps before documents are executed.
- Coordinate with Sales on CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) outputs to ensure that pricing, product configuration, and commercial commitments generated through the CPQ process are accurately translated into executed contract documentation.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate contract drafting, review, and redline workflows — improving turnaround times, reducing manual effort, and maintaining consistency across commercial documentation.
- Maintain an organized, accessible, and audit-ready repository of all contract agreement templates and executed contracts, NDAs, SOWs, and supporting documentation; track all documents through the review, approval, signature, and renewal process in coordination with Legal, Finance, and Sales.
Customer, Procurement & Internal Coordination
- Serve as the central coordination point for selected customer-related commercial and operational matters — supporting Sales during contracting, onboarding, renewals, and changes in scope; engage Legal appropriately on NDA requests, non-standard terms, and contract risk escalations.
- Apply procurement and vendor relationship experience to support Dyad's commercial operations — including reviewing vendor-side agreements, coordinating procurement workflows, and ensuring vendor contract terms are tracked, compliant, and renewed on time alongside customer-facing agreements.
- Coordinate internally to ensure contractual obligations and customer commitments are understood by Delivery, Finance, and Operations teams; help resolve documentation gaps, approval delays, and questions relating to customer or vendor agreements.
- Participate in customer or internal meetings where commercial, contractual, or operational coordination is required, representing Dyad's commercial operations function with professionalism and accuracy.
Governance, Tracking & Transition Management
- Maintain comprehensive trackers for contracts, SOWs, renewals, amendments, obligations, and key commercial milestones — proactively identifying upcoming renewals, expirations, pricing changes, and other actions requiring attention.
- Ensure all contracts follow Dyad's established approval and authorization processes; monitor compliance with commercial governance standards and escalate deviations.
- Develop a thorough understanding of existing customer arrangements, templates, stakeholder relationships, and historical commercial context — documenting critical activities, recurring responsibilities, key contacts, and decision points to ensure business continuity and effective knowledge transfer.
