Catapharma is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot process instruments, control systems and automation equipment used in our chemical manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of temperature, pressure, flow, level, pH and other process instruments.
- Carry out calibration and maintain calibration records.
- Troubleshoot transmitters, sensors, control valves, load cells, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems and interlocks.
- Provide instrumentation support for reactors, distillation systems, storage tanks, pumps, boilers, chillers and other plant utilities.
- Ensure proper functioning of alarms, trips, gas detectors and safety interlocks.
- Maintain SOPs, instrument history records, breakdown reports and spare-part records.
- Support plant projects, installation, loop checking and commissioning.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Maintenance, EHS and external vendors.
- Follow GMP, safety and hazardous-area requirements.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, API or process-manufacturing plant preferred.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, control valves, transmitters, calibration and P&IDs.
- Good troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
