Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Production Executive to oversee the manufacturing of kids' garments in our fast-paced e-commerce production unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire production cycle—from fabric sourcing to finished product—to ensure efficient production, quality, and timely fulfillment of online orders. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage the unique demands of e-commerce order volumes and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Production: Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the kids' garment production floor, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high quality. Ensure orders are completed on time for fulfillment and shipping.
- E-Commerce Order Fulfillment: Coordinate closely with the e-commerce and logistics teams to ensure smooth processing of orders. Ensure production is aligned with fluctuating e-commerce demands, peak season volumes, and timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control procedures to ensure the garments produced meet both safety and aesthetic standards. Regularly inspect finished products, conduct quality audits, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Inventory and Material Management: Ensure the timely availability of materials required for garment production (fabric, trims, packaging). Work with the procurement team to avoid stock-outs and optimize material usage, minimizing wastage.
- Efficiency and Productivity: Monitor production processes and workflows to identify and implement opportunities for improvement. Optimize production line performance to minimize downtime, reduce waste, and maximize productivity.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve any production issues, including equipment breakdowns, production delays, or quality concerns. Work with the maintenance team to ensure production equipment is properly maintained.
- Packaging and Shipping: Ensure finished garments are packaged correctly and meet the standards required for e-commerce shipments (including any special requirements such as gift wrapping, labeling, or branding). Coordinate with the warehouse team for timely dispatch.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed production records, including daily output, material usage, defect rates, and labor hours. Prepare reports for senior management on production performance and challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in garment production, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience working in an e-commerce-focused production environment is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of garment production processes (e.g., cutting, sewing, finishing, packaging)
- Familiarity with kids' garment safety standards and e-commerce fulfillment requirements
- Experience in managing e-commerce order volumes and deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic ERP or production management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Certifications (optional): Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or related fields are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

- Comfortable working in a production environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position. Flexible hours or shift work may be required depending on e-commerce order volumes (e.g., weekends, extended hours during peak seasons).

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
