Key Responsibilities
A. Procurement Planning & Project Support
● Align procurement planning with project timelines, sales commitments, and execution
schedules.
● Coordinate with Sales, Design, and Operations teams to understand project requirements in
advance.
● Ensure procurement readiness during project kick-off — validating vendor quotations, material
availability, and supply timelines.
● Eliminate procurement-related delays that impact project execution or client delivery
commitments.
B. Vendor Development & Commercial Management
● Build and manage a strong network of vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, and service partners.
● Lead commercial negotiations — ensuring procurement decisions are based on quality,
reliability, pricing, and delivery capability.
● Develop alternate sourcing options to reduce single-vendor dependency and procurement risk.
● Continuously evaluate and improve vendor performance across all categories.
C. Cost Optimisation & Profitability Support
● Drive strategic sourcing, value engineering, and negotiation to improve project profitability.
● Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality or delivery
commitments.
● Provide management with regular visibility on procurement savings, market trends, and cost
improvement opportunities.
D. Inventory & Material Management
● Ensure optimum inventory planning and material availability across ongoing and upcoming
projects.
● Coordinate with Operations and Stores to minimise stock-outs, excess inventory, and
emergency purchases.
● Maintain material accuracy and minimise wastage across all project sites and storage locations.
E. Procurement Risk Management
● Proactively identify supply chain risks — vendor delays, price escalations, quality concerns, and
market fluctuations.
● Develop and execute risk mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
● Maintain alternate vendor readiness for all critical material categories.
F. Team Leadership & Capability Building
● Lead and manage the procurement team — Purchase Executives, Procurement Coordinators,
and Stores personnel.
● Build a culture of accountability, commercial discipline, responsiveness, and continuous
improvement.
● Focus on team capability development, vendor relationship management, and procurement
excellence.
G. Procurement Governance & Reporting
● Ensure adherence to procurement policies, approval frameworks, vendor evaluation standards,
and documentation requirements.
● Maintain structured reporting on procurement performance, vendor effectiveness, cost savings,
and project readiness.
● Support audit readiness and ensure full compliance with company procurement SOPs at all
times.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
