We are looking for a Databricks Administrator with 2–4 years of hands-on experience to manage, secure, and optimize our Databricks Lakehouse Platform across AWS and Azure environments.
This role focuses on platform administration, governance, security, and automation. It is not a Data Engineering or ETL/Pipeline Development role.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Databricks workspaces on AWS and Azure.
- Configure and manage clusters, cluster policies, instance pools, and compute resources.
- Implement identity and access management using RBAC, SCIM, groups, and service principals.
- Manage and govern data assets using Unity Catalog.
- Monitor platform performance, usage, and costs while optimizing resource utilization.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) for Databricks deployments.
- Automate platform administration and operational tasks.
- Configure networking, private connectivity, and cloud integrations.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, governance, and operational excellence.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Databricks Administration.
- Experience administering Databricks on AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong understanding of:
- Databricks Workspaces
- Clusters & Cluster Policies
- Instance Pools
- Jobs & Scheduling
- Access Control & Permissions
- Experience with Unity Catalog administration and governance.
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), SCIM, RBAC, and Service Principals.
- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and secure connectivity.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Understanding of platform monitoring, logging, and cost optimization.
Good to Have
- Experience with Azure Databricks and AWS Databricks environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for platform deployment.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Databricks or Cloud (AWS/Azure) certifications.
