Job Description – Finance Manager

Position Overview
We are looking for a Finance Manager to manage and drive the finance function of the organization. The role will be responsible for financial planning, accounting operations, reporting, compliance, process improvement, and business partnering. The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage finance operations, ensure strong financial controls, and provide actionable insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Function Ownership
· Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting function.
· Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
· Drive financial discipline, controls, and process improvements.
· Act as a key finance partner to management and business teams.
Accounting & Month-End Closing
· Oversee complete accounting operations and ensure accuracy of books.
· Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
· Review journal entries, reconciliations, provisions, and adjustments.
· Ensure proper maintenance of ledgers and supporting schedules.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
· Prepare and review monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
· Analyze financial performance, trends, and key business metrics.
· Provide insights on revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flows.
· Support management decision-making through financial analysis.
Budgeting & Planning
· Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
· Track actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
· Assist management in financial planning and business strategies.
Compliance & Audit Management
· Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
· Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders.
· Manage audit requirements and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Internal Controls & Process Improvements
· Establish and strengthen internal financial controls.
· Identify process gaps and implement improvements.
· Develop SOPs and improve efficiency through automation and technology.
Team Management
· Manage, guide, and mentor finance team members.
· Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
· Build a strong and accountable finance function.
Required Skills & Experience
· 6+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
· Experience managing end-to-end finance operations.
· Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting, taxation, and compliance.
· Hands-on experience with ERP(ZOHO).
· Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
· Strong understanding of financial statements and business performance analysis.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualification
· M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
