About the Role
Banu's Holdings operates a fresh-produce processing and delivery business serving customers across Singapore and Malaysia. We are building out our commercial function from the ground up — and this role sits at the heart of it.
As Sales & Marketing Executive, you will be the engine behind our day-to-day commercial operations: keeping the CRM current, preparing and sending quotations, maintaining our online trade portal, and producing the sales catalogues and marketing materials that represent us in the market.
This is a build-from-scratch role. In the near term, a significant part of your focus will be on branding — developing the materials, visual standards, and commercial identity that will define how Banu's presents itself to customers and prospects in both markets. Over time, the scope evolves into a steady rhythm of sales support, content, and market development.
You will work closely with the director and operations team, coordinating across time zones and communicating with customers and stakeholders in Singapore and Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Sales Activity Tracking
- Own and maintain the sales CRM — ensuring all leads, accounts, contacts, and deal stages are up to date
- Prepare and submit a daily sales activity log covering customer interactions, quotation status, follow-up actions, and pipeline movement
- Track and chase open quotations and follow up with prospects on pending decisions
- Flag stalled deals, lost opportunities, and recurring objections to the Management for review
Quotation Preparation
- Prepare accurate, professionally formatted customer quotations based on the approved price list and deal parameters confirmed by the Management
- Send, track, and follow up on all quotations within agreed timelines
- Maintain a quotation log — issued, accepted, rejected, revised — so nothing falls through the cracks
- Coordinate with operations on lead time, MOQ, and product availability before quoting
Online Portal & Product Listings
- Maintain and update the company's online trade or customer portal — product listings, pricing updates, availability, and content
- Ensure portal information is consistent with current pricing and catalogue versions
- Coordinate with the Director and operations team to reflect product changes, new lines, or seasonal availability on the portal promptly
Sales Catalogue & Product Content
- Own the sales catalogue — maintain it as a live, accurate document that reflects current products, pack sizes, and pricing
- Update catalogue versions when products are added, discontinued, or repriced, and manage version control so the field always has the current copy
- Prepare product one-pagers, specification sheets, and customer-facing summaries as needed for sales conversations
Branding & Marketing Materials
- Lead the initial branding work — coordinate with the Director to develop or refine the company's visual identity: logo usage, colour palette, typography, tone of voice
- Produce and maintain a suite of sales and marketing materials: company profile, product brochures, presentation decks, email templates, and trade-facing collateral
- Ensure all materials are on-brand, professionally formatted, and ready for use by the sales and operations team
- Manage and update marketing assets — keep a clean, organised folder of current-version files accessible to the team
Social Media
- Manage the company's social media presence (LinkedIn primary, others as agreed) — content calendar, post scheduling, and copy
- Create and publish regular content aligned to the business: product highlights, company updates, market positioning, and trade-relevant topics
- Monitor engagement and report on social media performance monthly
- Respond professionally to inbound messages and comments on social platforms
Market Support & Research
- Conduct periodic research on competitor offerings, market pricing, and customer trends in the Singapore and Malaysia fresh-produce and food-supply space
- Compile research into concise summaries for the Director — no raw data dumps, just clear findings and implications
- Support new customer prospecting by researching target accounts, preparing contact lists, and drafting outreach copy
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales support, trade marketing, or commercial coordination — ideally in food, FMCG, agriculture, or supply chain
- Comfortable preparing professional customer-facing documents: quotations, catalogues, proposals, and presentations
- Hands-on CRM experience — data discipline, pipeline management, and follow-up rigour
- Strong written English — you will be writing quotations, emails, and content for Singapore and Malaysia business audiences
- Proficient with design tools for basic marketing material production (Canva at minimum; Adobe suite a strong plus)
- Social media content creation experience, particularly LinkedIn for a B2B context
- Self-directed and structured — able to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines without day-to-day supervision
Preferred
- Familiarity with the Singapore or Malaysia business environment — understanding of buyer expectations, communication norms, and commercial conventions
- Experience updating content on trade portals, B2B marketplaces, or e-commerce/ordering platforms
- Exposure to fresh produce, perishables, or food manufacturing/distribution
- Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Working Arrangements
This is a fully remote, work-from-home role based in India. You will be expected to:
- Maintain working hours that overlap with Singapore / Malaysia business hours (SGT, UTC+8) for core coordination
- Be accessible on team communication channels during overlap hours and responsive within agreed SLAs
- Submit a daily activity log covering CRM updates, quotations, and follow-ups
- Join regular video check-ins with the Management for pipeline review and task alignment
- Maintain a professional, reliable home-office setup suitable for customer-facing video calls when required
Pay: ₹9,852.58 - ₹33,801.14 per month
