About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in plastic and sheet metal component design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Creo (preferred) or equivalent 3D CAD software and possess strong knowledge of AutoCAD. The candidate will be responsible for product design, engineering documentation, design modifications, and coordination with production teams to ensure successful product development.
Knowledge of Kannada is preferred. Candidates with proficiency in Tamil and English will have an added advantage.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Design & Development
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products using Creo or equivalent CAD software.
- Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Design plastic injection-molded components and sheet metal parts based on project requirements.
- Modify and improve existing product designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
Engineering Documentation
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), technical specifications, and drawings.
- Generate production drawings and assembly instructions.
- Ensure all design documents comply with company standards and customer requirements.
Design Validation & Coordination
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and project teams during product development.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation activities.
- Address manufacturing and assembly-related design issues.
- Participate in design reviews and implement necessary improvements.
CAD & Technical Support
- Develop detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Perform design calculations and tolerance analysis where required.
- Assist in product standardization and design optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Additional certifications in CAD Design or Product Design will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
- Experience in plastic component design and sheet metal design is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with Creo (Preferred) or equivalent CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or Inventor.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and detailing.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
