We are looking for an ambitious Deputy General Manager- Finance & Accounts who oversees the organization’s financial operations. The role bridges day-to-day accounting and executive strategy, handling financial reporting, audits, taxation, compliance, and team leadership.
Primary responsibilities
- Financial Accounting & Reporting: To handle the day-to-day accounting function and ensure closing of books in time bound manner on periodic basis including periodic bank reconciliation, provisions/accruals, ledger scrutiny, vendor & employee payments, GST Invoicing etc. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes. Finalize financial statements and ensure strict compliance with statutory accounting standards.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Spearhead annual budgeting cycles, conduct variance analysis, and provide actionable financial forecasts to support corporate strategy.
- Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate Statutory, Internal, and Tax audits. Ensure robust Internal Financial Controls (IFC) and enforce standard operating procedure (SOPs) across all verticals.
- Taxation & Compliance: Direct corporate compliance with direct and indirect taxes (e.g., GST, TDS) and other regulations applicable to the organisations (eg FCRA, Secretarial matters)
- Treasury & Working Capital: Oversee cash flow management, monitor accounts receivable/payable, and manage banking relationships.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and build capabilities within the finance and accounts team. Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical conduct in the finance function and across various Operations Teams within the organisations.
Requirements
a) Qualifications & Experience -
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Professional certifications are preferred.
- 10 to 12 years of progressive experience in corporate finance and accounting specially at a multi speciality hospital.
b) Skills & Knowledge –
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, taxation regulations etc
- Excellent organizing abilities and great attention to detail and confidentiality
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical judgement
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and
- practices
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and Proficient in Tally software
c) Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, executive-level communication, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
