Key Responsibilities1. Teaching Responsibilities
- Teach assigned subjects/classes as per the school timetable.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments.
- Ensure effective classroom management and student engagement.
- Monitor students' academic progress and maintain records.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment classes when required.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic counselling.
2. Academic Coordination
- Ensure smooth implementation of the CBSE curriculum and school policies.
- Monitor completion of syllabus according to the academic calendar.
- Review lesson plans, teachers' planners, and assessment schedules.
- Coordinate examinations, question papers, and evaluation processes.
- Analyse assessment data and prepare performance reports.
- Organise academic enrichment programmes and competitions.
- Monitor classroom transactions through regular observations.
3. Teacher Support and Supervision
- Mentor and guide teachers in pedagogy and classroom practices.
- Conduct demonstration lessons and academic workshops.
- Identify training needs and recommend professional development.
- Review teachers' documentation and records.
- Support newly recruited teachers during induction.
- Follow up on action plans arising from classroom observations.
4. Student Welfare and Discipline
- Monitor student attendance and punctuality.
- Address behavioural concerns in consultation with class teachers.
- Coordinate counselling referrals and support interventions.
- Recognise and encourage student achievements.
- Ensure implementation of child safety and protection guidelines.
5. Parent Communication
- Handle parent concerns related to academics.
- Conduct regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Communicate academic expectations and student progress.
- Support admission interactions and orientation programmes.
6. Examination and Assessment Management
- Prepare examination schedules and duty rosters.
- Coordinate preparation and moderation of question papers.
- Ensure timely correction and submission of marks.
- Verify report cards before publication.
- Analyse results and identify areas for improvement.
7. Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal in daily school operations.
- Prepare academic reports and presentations for management.
- Coordinate timetables and substitution arrangements.
- Monitor maintenance of classrooms and teaching resources.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE documentation requirements.
- Coordinate school events, assemblies, and special programmes.
8. Meetings and Reporting
- Attend leadership and departmental meetings.
- Conduct regular meetings with teachers.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Principal.
- Track implementation of action points and deadlines.
Pay: ₹10,084.77 - ₹19,000.00 per month
