Position: Diploma Trainee Engineer / Junior Officer – Weaving
Department: Weaving Production
Location: Textile Weaving Unit
Reporting To: Weaving Supervisor / Shift In-Charge
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Textile Technology /Mechnacical / Textile Manufacturing / Textile Engineering.
- Freshers or candidates with 0 to 3 years of weaving experience can apply.
Job Purpose
To support weaving production activities by monitoring loom performance, ensuring fabric quality, minimizing machine downtime, and achieving production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Monitoring
- Monitor daily loom production and efficiency.
- Ensure smooth running of Airjet, Rapier, Sulzer, Toyota, Picanol, or other shuttleless looms.
- Assist supervisors in achieving shift-wise production targets.
- Reduce loom stoppages and improve machine utilization.
Quality Control
- Monitor fabric quality during production.
- Identify weaving defects such as:
- End out
- Pick out
- Double pick
- Reed marks
- Oil stains
- Coordinate with the Quality team for corrective actions.
Machine & Process Support
- Assist in loom settings and style change activities.
- Monitor warp and weft performance.
- Report machine abnormalities to the maintenance team.
- Support preventive maintenance schedules.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production reports and loom efficiency records.
- Record machine stoppages and downtime reasons.
- Update production data in ERP or Excel systems.
- Prepare shift production summaries.
Housekeeping & Safety
- Follow 5S and safety procedures.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness.
- Ensure proper material handling practices.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Textile Technology / Textile Manufacturing / Textile Engineering.
- Freshers or candidates with 0 to 3 years of weaving experience can apply.
Required Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of weaving processes.
- Understanding of fabric construction.
- Knowledge of warp and weft yarns.
- Awareness of loom operations and production flow.
- Basic MS Excel and production reporting knowledge.
- Understanding of textile quality parameters

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
