Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Admission Executive to manage the operational and documentation aspects of the school admission process. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate admission records, verifying documents, coordinating fee-related processes, and ensuring timely completion of admission files.
Candidates must reside within 10 km of the school/branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the admission process from application receipt to final file closure.
- Collect and verify student documents such as birth certificates, transfer certificates, ID proofs, photographs, medical records, etc.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital admission files.
- Follow up with parents for pending documents, payments, forms and signatures.
- Coordinate with Counsellors, Administration, Accounts and Management.
- Process and maintain admission/fee payment records and receipts in coordination with Accounts.
- Update student and admission details in ERP/MIS/Excel.
- Prepare daily and weekly admission reports, trackers and seat-availability reports.
- Ensure admission documentation is complete and compliant with applicable school/board requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of student, parent and financial information.
- Support admission-desk operations and new-student onboarding activities.
- Efficiently manage high-volume admissions during peak season.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline; Commerce/Administration background preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a school or educational institution.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Email.
- Experience with ERP/Admission Management Software preferred.
- Basic knowledge of fee transactions and accounting processes.
- Familiarity with CBSE/RTE and school admission documentation is an advantage.
- Excellent organisation and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up ability.
- Professional communication and parent-handling skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure during admission season.
