1. Job Purpose
The QC In-Charge is responsible for ensuring that all concrete, raw materials, and production processes meet the required quality standards. The role oversees plant-level QC operations, testing, documentation, and compliance with statutory and industry norms. Ensures smooth coordination between Production, QC, Maintenance, and Site teams.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Quality Assurance & Control
- Ensure all concrete produced meets required specifications as per ISI standards and mix design criteria.
- Supervise sampling, testing, and inspection of raw materials — cement, aggregates, water, admixtures.
- Oversee testing of fresh concrete (slump, temperature, air content) and hardened concrete (compressive strength).
- Maintain calibration, upkeep, and availability of all QC instruments and lab equipment.
- Monitor production quality, batching operations, and ensure mix consistency.
· Production/dispatch targets for RMC, paving blocks, fly ash bricks, hume pipes, precast u-drains
· Timely execution of new design mixes for precast u-drains and paving blocks
· Minimizing rejects, rework, and quality deviations
B. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain complete QC records — test reports, calibration logs, material inspection sheets.
- Ensure compliance with IS codes, client specifications, and internal quality standards.
- Prepare daily/weekly QC reports for management review.
- Support internal and external audits (ISO, client audits, regulatory inspections).
C. Process Control & Improvement
- Identify quality deviations and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Site teams to resolve quality issues quickly.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the quality system.
- Ensure consistent execution of revised or new mix designs during production.
D. Team Coordination & Training
- Train plant and site teams on QC procedures and safety norms.
- Maintain discipline, transparency, and accountability within the QC team.
- Ensure all staff follow SOPs strictly.
E. Customer & Contractor Coordination
- Effective coordination with contractors at project sites
- Accurate demonstration of material usage, quality, and specifications at site
- Resolving customer queries and complaints on-site
F. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure QC lab and plant follow all safety protocols.
- Promote a clean, safe working environment as per company standards.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
