About the Role
Uprango is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic BDE Intern to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. This internship is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or candidates with a few months of relevant experience to kick-start their career in business development and digital sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through online platforms such as Upwork, LinkedIn, Freelancer, and other bidding portals.
- Communicate with potential clients to understand their requirements and pitch relevant services.
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Coordinate with the SEO and digital marketing team to align on service offerings and client requirements.
- Maintain and update the lead database (CRM) on a regular basis.
- Conduct basic market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Support senior BDEs in client follow-ups and relationship management.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and digital marketing practices to better understand client needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in BCA, MCA, BTech, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–4 months of relevant experience (internship or professional) in business development, sales, or digital marketing.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page, off-page, keyword research, etc.).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to learn.
- Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, or similar lead-generation tools is a plus.
