About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of food, beverage, packaging, and operational supplies for our F&B operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor management, purchase order processing, inventory coordination, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Purchasing
- Source and procure food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, kitchen supplies, and operational consumables.
- Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requisitions.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid operational disruptions.
- Compare quotations, negotiate prices, and secure the best commercial terms from vendors.
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, service, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct periodic vendor reviews and maintain an approved vendor database.
Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with stores and operations teams to monitor stock levels and replenishment requirements.
- Assist in inventory planning to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Track material consumption trends and support demand forecasting.
Cost Control & Compliance
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approval processes.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, invoices, and supporting documentation.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare procurement reports, vendor analysis, and purchase summaries.
- Maintain purchase records, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Support internal audits and inventory verification activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, restaurant, or retail industry.
- Experience handling food and beverage procurement will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Purchase Management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in restaurants, cafés, breweries, food courts, entertainment centers, or hospitality chains.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards related to procurement.
- Experience handling multiple outlets or locations will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
