Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and driven Junior Video Editor to join our media team. This role is perfect for a fresher who understands modern digital storytelling and knows how to use basic editing tools like CapCut to create engaging short- and long-form videos for social media platforms. You will work closely with our content creators to cut, edit, and enhance raw footage.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit Videos: Cut raw footage and assemble it into a clean, smooth sequence using CapCut.
- Add Effects: Apply basic transitions, color grading, filters, and standard visual effects.
- Incorporate Audio: Sync background music, adjust audio levels, and add sound effects.
- Create Captions: Add clean, readable, and dynamic text or auto-captions to increase viewer retention.
- Format for Platforms: Export videos in the correct dimensions and resolutions for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
- Organize Files: Manage and sort digital media assets efficiently.
Requirements & Skills
- Tool Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of CapCut (desktop or mobile app). Knowledge of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is a plus, but not required.
- Creative Eye: Good sense of rhythm, pacing, and current social media video trends.
- Communication: Ability to take feedback well and make quick changes.
- Portfolio: A demo reel or link to sample video edits showcasing your CapCut skills.
