We are looking for a Business Development Manager to help expand our doctor partnerships, clinic network, patient acquisition channels, and revenue growth.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, building, and managing partnerships with fertility clinics, gynecologists, hospitals, diagnostic centers, and healthcare networks. The role requires strong field execution, relationship-building skills, and the ability to convert medical professionals and institutions into active partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesDoctor & Clinic Partnerships
- Identify and onboard gynecologists, fertility specialists, IVF clinics, hospitals, and women’s health centers.
- Build strong relationships with doctors and clinic decision-makers.
- Conduct product presentations and explain Cosma’s value proposition clearly.
- Drive repeat prescriptions, referrals, and clinic-level adoption.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own monthly and quarterly business development targets.
- Generate leads, follow up with prospects, and convert them into active partners.
- Track doctor-wise and clinic-wise performance.
- Support patient acquisition through clinic referrals and partner networks.
Market Expansion
- Identify high-potential cities, clinics, doctors, and healthcare channels.
- Create and execute territory-level growth plans.
- Gather market intelligence on fertility treatments, competitors, pricing, and doctor feedback.
- Support launch and expansion activities in new regions.
Relationship Management
- Ensure regular engagement with partner doctors and clinics.
- Resolve queries related to product usage, patient eligibility, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with internal teams for training, onboarding, marketing material, and follow-ups.
Reporting & Operations
- Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, meetings, conversions, and revenue.
- Share weekly reports on pipeline, doctor engagement, closures, and challenges.
- Work closely with the founders, medical team, and marketing team to improve sales strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or healthcare/life sciences background preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, medical sales, pharma sales, healthcare partnerships, or fertility clinic sales.
- Prior experience working with gynecologists, fertility clinics, IVF centers, or hospitals is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with field visits, doctor meetings, and target-driven execution.
- Ability to understand and communicate healthcare products clearly and ethically.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network of gynecologists, IVF specialists, or fertility clinics.
- Experience selling women’s health, fertility, pharma, nutraceutical, medical device, or diagnostic products.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Ability to conduct product demos and doctor education sessions.
Success Metrics
- Number of doctors and clinics onboarded.
- Monthly revenue generated through partner channels.
- Repeat prescriptions and referrals from doctors.
- Conversion rate from doctor meetings to active partners.
- Territory growth and clinic-level engagement.
Pay: ₹11,529.06 - ₹40,970.57 per month
