We are looking for a hands-on VDI Infrastructure & Proxmox who can design, deploy, automate, and manage scalable systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across Proxmox Linux servers, virtualization, networking, and automation pipelines, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- VDI Infrastructure & Proxmox Virtualization
Deploy and manage infrastructure using:
- Install, configure, optimize and maintain Proxmox virtualization cluster/nodes.
- Build and maintain shared web hosting environment (user isolation, quota management, optional control panel integration like Cloud Linux, WHMCS, C-Panel, etc.).
- Good working knowledge of pfSense (firewall rules, OpenVPN/WireGuard, multi-WAN, etc.).
- VPS / Dedicated servers / Bear Metal Server In-house Design and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
- Handle VM provisioning, snapshots, backups, and scaling
Networking & Security:
- Configure and manage pfSense firewalls
- VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation
- Reverse proxies (Nginx)
Implement:
- SSL/TLS, DNS management
- Squid proxy / captive portals
- Ensure system hardening and access control policies
- DevOps & Deployment
Set up and manage:
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Coolify, Dokploy)
- Docker-based deployments
Handle:
- Multi-service environments
- Reverse proxy routing and domain management
- Automate deployments and reduce manual ops
- Automation & Scripting
Build automation using:
- Bash scripting / Cron jobs
- API integrations
Automate:
- VM provisioning
- Bare Metal Server setup
- Monitoring & onboarding workflows
- Monitoring & Logging
Implement and manage:
- ELK Stack
- ntopng / system logs
Create dashboards for:
- Network activity
- User-level monitoring (VDI)
- Set up alerts and performance tracking
Required Core Skills
- Linux Administration (Proxmox, OpenStack, Ubuntu/Debian, VMware, EXSi, Red Hat Enterprises)
- Networking fundamentals (VLAN, DNS, VPN, Firewall)
- Docker (must)
- Nginx / Reverse Proxy
- VDI Infrastructure
- Proxmox
- DevOps
- Git + CI/CD pipelines
- Basic Kubernetes (optional but good)
- Bash scripting
