Our team supports the implementation, maintenance, and operation of digital solutions for BASF.
This includes the planning and support of complex Data & IT landscapes incl. infrastructure for the client-/server and Web- applications, packaging and rollout of applications, and integration of cloud solutions.
We coordinate the relevant activities with the respective providers as well as with BASF’s internal IT units (e.g., security, data integration, infrastructure/cloud enablement, system integration).
Furthermore, we develop interfaces for a seamless integration of the different systems into the whole IT landscape.
We support the solutions using BASF's IT Service Management processes such as incident & change management and accompany our customers during the entire solution lifecycle.
You are responsible for continuous service delivery respective IT landscape: incident management, change management, updates, upgrades, modernization, migration, security checks, lifecycle management.
Hereby you interact with different product teams.
Your main responsibility will be the integration and lifecycle support of 3rd party Software (Commercial of the shelf SW) into the BASFs infrastructure environment.
Therefore, a wide infrastructure and integration knowledge is essential.
