Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic QA Lead with 12–15 years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, proven experience in managing teams, and the ability to drive quality assurance strategies across projects. This role requires working in night shifts and handling a team of 10–15 QA professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 10–15 QA engineers, ensuring high performance and productivity.
- Define, implement, and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Oversee end-to-end testing activities including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Drive both manual and automation testing strategies across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure quality deliverables within timelines in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Mentor and guide team members to enhance technical and functional skills.
- Analyze test results, identify risks, and provide mitigation strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of testing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12–15 years of overall experience in QA with a mix of manual and automation testing.
- Strong experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in test frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD integration.
- Proven experience in team handling (10–15 members mandatory).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, QC, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and night shifts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and pipelines.
- Domain experience (if any specific domain required, can be added).
