Duties
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various HR sourcing channels, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and conducting interviews to identify top talent.
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including payroll processing via platforms like Paychex, Dayforce, or ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace conflicts, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating conflict management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation regulations through diligent policy enforcement and documentation.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals through strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.
- Support senior leadership with HR program management, succession planning, and organizational design to foster a high-performance environment.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting strategies, and HR sourcing techniques using platforms like Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or UltiPro.
- Strong negotiation skills for contracts, benefits administration, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, Kronos, Ceridian, Paylocity or similar tools for data collection and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to all levels of the organization including senior leadership.
- Skilled in training & development programs focusing on employee evaluation and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability in change management processes and process improvement methodologies to optimize HR functions.
- Organizational design expertise with experience in human resources management software like PeopleSoft or Taleo.
