Location: Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, Delhi, Mohali, Nashik
Language Requirement: English (Expert)
Department: Intelligent Automation
We are looking for an exceptionally sharp Process Consultant — someone who operates at the intersection of business understanding, process design, and technology feasibility.
The person we hire will be the intellectual engine of our transformation engagements: the consultant who walks into a client's business, rapidly builds the first-principles understanding of how that business actually works and makes money, diagnoses where value is leaking, and designs future-state processes that are not just elegant on paper but technically feasible, automation-ready, and commercially sound.
You will be trusted to challenge how clients operate today, to tell them what should be automated and — just as importantly — what should not, and to translate ambiguous business problems into structured, buildable solutions. You will work primarily within Finance and Accounting environments, applying Business Process Management (BPM), Intelligent Automation, AI, and Digital Transformation methodologies.
-
Intellectually rigorous. You have a strong academic record and demonstrable analytical horsepower. You think in structures, frameworks, and first principles — not templates. You can hold a complex, multi-entity, multi-system business in your head and reason about it.
-
A genuine business consultant, not just a process mapper. You understand the client's business model, revenue drivers, cost structure, and regulatory context before you touch a single process map. Your recommendations start from business needs and work backward to solutions.
-
Fluent in technical feasibility. You know what RPA, AI, IDP, workflow platforms, and process mining can and cannot do. You can assess whether a proposed solution is buildable, scalable, and maintainable — and you can defend that assessment to both a CFO and a solution architect.
-
Comfortable with ambiguity. You can enter an engagement with no playbook, structure the problem yourself, and produce clarity where none existed.
Provide subject matter expertise across Finance and Accounting operations, including:
Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
General Ledger (GL), Financial Close & Reconciliation
Cash Application, Billing & Invoicing
Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R)
Treasury Operations and FP&A
Procurement and Shared Service Center Operations
Business Understanding & Process Discovery
-
Rapidly develop a deep understanding of each client's business model, operating context, industry dynamics, and strategic priorities.
-
Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
-
Analyze current-state (AS-IS) processes, systems, controls, handoffs, and pain points.
-
Conduct structured process assessments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, compliance risks, and automation opportunities.
-
Evaluate process maturity and readiness for automation, standardization, and transformation.
-
Design optimized future-state (TO-BE) processes aligned with best practices, business objectives, and automation principles.
-
Challenge existing operating models; recommend improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, control, and customer experience.
-
Develop transformation roadmaps and prioritized improvement initiatives grounded in business value.
-
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
-
Define business rules, exception-handling frameworks, governance structures, and operational controls.
-
Assess the technical feasibility of proposed solutions across RPA, AI, workflow automation, OCR/IDP, and process mining — before commitments are made to clients.
-
Identify the right automation candidates and, critically, flag processes that are poor automation candidates and require redesign or human judgment.
-
Work closely with Solution Architects and Automation Developers to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
-
Lead automation opportunity assessments and ROI/business-case development.
-
Ensure redesigned processes are automation-ready before development begins.
-
Participate in solution design workshops and client presentations as the voice of both business logic and technical realism.
Required
-
5+ years in Process Consulting, Business Process Transformation, Operational Excellence, Finance Transformation, or Shared Services Optimization.
-
Proven track record redesigning finance and accounting processes end to end.
-
Experience leading client-facing process discovery and consulting engagements.
-
Demonstrated experience assessing solution feasibility and shaping automation scope.
Preferred
-
Background in consulting firms (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, IBM Consulting, Capgemini, Genpact, Infosys, Cognizant) or in the finance transformation team of a multinational organization.
-
Strong command of BPM methodologies and advanced process mapping (Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio, Bizagi, ARIS).
-
Working knowledge of process mining tools (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining).
-
Solid understanding of RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate), AI-enabled automation, Intelligent Document Processing, and workflow automation platforms — sufficient to judge feasibility, effort, and risk.
-
Experience with major ERPs is a benefit: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday Financials.
-
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
-
