We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Imports Executive to join our Import/Logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the import of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining effective communication with suppliers, customs authorities, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Tracking:
- Monitor and track the status of incoming shipments to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Financial Management:
- Update the fund arrangement sheet with payment and duty status for invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of payments and duties for month-wise and week-wise plans.
- Document Management:
- Coordinate with shipper, CHA (Customs House Agent), and BL (Bill of Lading) to update free days on the relevant documents.
- Manage certificates and ensure proper grouping and filing.
- Payment Planning:
- Review and approve copy documents received from shippers, and request corrections if necessary.
- Plan and execute timely payments for duties, line charges, and other related fees.
- Booking update in Google Sheets:
- Assign bookings to shippers and update the Open Bookings sheet and Master Import Sheet accordingly.
- Document Approval and Management:
- Update the master sheet upon receipt of approved copy documents.
- Bank Transactions and Originals from shippers:
- Coordinate with shippers to ensure the timely submission of original documents to the bank, including two copies of the Bill of Lading.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Update the FSSAI status on the Master Import Sheet to ensure compliance.
- CHA Collaboration:
- Request regular samples from the CHA and provide necessary documents for review.
- Send copy documents to the CHA and generate relevant reports.
- Insurance Management:
- Facilitate the regular and timely insurance of all containers to mitigate risks.
- CFS Account Balance Review:
- Weekly review of the Ameya PD Account Balance to ensure financial alignment.
- Courier Tracking:
- Monitor courier services for the delivery of original documents, ensuring their timely arrival.
- Customs Compliance
Qualifications:
- Candidates should graduate.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email writing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
