About the Role
Team Education is looking for passionate, energetic, and confident Student Counselors to guide students toward higher education opportunities in India and abroad.
If you enjoy interacting with students, understanding their career goals, and helping them make informed educational decisions, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students on higher education opportunities in India and abroad
- Guide students in selecting suitable courses, colleges, and universities based on their academic profile, budget, and career aspirations
- Explain admission requirements, application procedures, scholarships, visa processes, and career opportunities
- Convert interested students into registered clients
- Assist students with admission applications and required documentation
- Answer student and parent queries regarding courses, fees, accommodation, safety, and future prospects
- Maintain regular follow-up with students and parents throughout the admission process
- Coordinate with partner institutions and internal teams to ensure smooth admissions
Requirements
- Any Degree (Mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and email communication (Mandatory)
- Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Interest in education counseling, admissions, and student guidance
- Sales and counseling aptitude will be an added advantage
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply
