Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist who excels at product storytelling through visuals and videos. This role focuses heavily on creating high-converting product listings and engaging video content, along with managing day-to-day digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Listings & Conversion Optimization (High Priority)
- Create and manage high-converting product listings on Shopify
Write and structure:
- Product titles, descriptions, and key benefits
- Feature highlights focused on child development outcomes
Design:
- Product images, infographics, and comparison charts
- Optimize listings for:
- Better conversion rates
- Clarity and storytelling
- Continuously improve listings based on customer feedback and behavior
2. Video Content Creation (High Priority)
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos (Reels, Ads, YouTube Shorts)
Create content such as:
- Product demos
- Kids using Mumtree products
- Learning outcomes and use-cases
- Parent-focused storytelling
- Handle end-to-end video production:
- Scripting → Shooting → Editing → Publishing
- Stay updated with trends and adapt them to brand content
- Ensure videos are optimized for engagement and retention
Tools preferred: CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects (basic), mobile editing tools
3. Social Media & Content Management
- Manage Instagram and other platforms
- Build and execute a content calendar with video-first approach
- Post consistently with focus on:
- Reels (primary growth driver)
- Carousels and educational posts
- Engage with audience (comments, DMs, community building)
4. Graphic Design & Creative Production
- Social media creatives
- Product infographics
- Website banners
- Catalogs and brochures
- Maintain consistent brand identity across all assets
Tools preferred: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma
5. Website & Landing Page Content
- Improve product pages with:
- Better visuals and storytelling
- Structured content for clarity
- Create landing pages for product launches and campaigns
- Ensure seamless user experience through design
6. Email & WhatsApp Marketing
- Design and execute:
- Product launch emails
- Engagement campaigns
- Create visually rich creatives for communication
- Support retention through content-led messaging
7. Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Track performance of:
- Product pages (conversion, time spent)
- Video content (views, watch time, engagement)
- Identify what content/listings drive sales
- Continuously iterate and improve
Key Requirements
- 2–4 years experience in digital/content roles (D2C preferred)
- Strong experience in:
- Product listing creation (Shopify or similar)
- Video creation & editing (short-form content)
- Good design skills and visual storytelling ability
- Understanding of consumer psychology and buying behavior
Familiarity with:
- Canva / Adobe Suite / CapCut
- Shopify basics
- Ability to work fast while maintaining quality
Good to Have
- Experience in kids/parenting brands
- On-camera confidence for shooting content
- Basic copywriting skills for storytelling
