We are looking for a strategic and highly skilled SEO Manager who understands the deeper mechanics of search optimization—not just surface-level tactics. This is not a role for someone who relies on standard checklists or keyword stuffing. Our ideal candidate is a forward-thinking SEO strategist who thrives in performance-driven environments and can engage with clients who are already SEO-savvy.
You’ll be expected to lead the development and execution of tailored SEO strategies for e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WordPress (WooCommerce), BigCommerce, and others. This role demands a keen understanding of e-commerce dynamics, including product page optimization, technical SEO for large catalogs, and platform-specific intricacies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end SEO strategies for e-commerce clients across various platforms.
- Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with developers and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented on all levels.
- Analyze website performance metrics and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
- Stay ahead of search engine algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Lead competitive analysis and keyword research tailored to e-commerce product niches.
- Strategize and oversee schema markup, canonicalization, crawl optimization, and indexation controls.
- Regularly present strategy and performance updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with PPC teams to ensure SEO and SEM efforts complement each other.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or performance marketing setting.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable SEO results, especially in e-commerce environments.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify, WooCommerce (WordPress), BigCommerce, Magento, or similar platforms.
- Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4.
- Solid understanding of core web vitals, structured data, and mobile-first indexing.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills—must be comfortable discussing strategy with expert-level clients.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with design, dev, and content teams.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
