1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the eye hospital, including outpatient departments, surgical suites, diagnostics, and patient services.
- Ensure efficient patient flow and timely service to enhance patient satisfaction and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with various departments, such as reception, nursing, and doctors, to ensure smooth operations and minimal patient wait time.
2. Staff Management and Training:
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of administrative and clinical staff, including doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Organize regular training sessions to ensure staff are updated on new procedures, equipment, and patient care standards.
3. Patient Care and Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high standards of patient care and monitor patient satisfaction levels, implementing improvements as needed.
- Oversee compliance with medical standards, hospital protocols, and accreditation requirements.
- Ensure the hospital adheres to healthcare regulations and is prepared for periodic audits.
4. Financial Management:
- Manage budgets and financial planning, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
- Monitor revenue cycles, including billing, payments, insurance claims, and account receivables.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare regular financial reports and analyze key metrics.
5. Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Oversee procurement, storage, and maintenance of medical and surgical equipment, medications, and consumables.
- Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of medical equipment to avoid downtime and safety issues.
- Maintain records of supplies and ensure timely restocking.
6. Patient Relations and Community Outreach:
- Engage with patients to gather feedback, address grievances, and improve patient experience.
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase hospital visibility and patient volume, such as community outreach programs and partnerships.
- Organize free eye camps, awareness programs, and other CSR activities as part of the hospital’s community engagement efforts.
7. Health and Safety:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols for both patients and staff, including infection control and emergency preparedness.
- Conduct regular safety drills and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of patient data, staff performance, equipment, and inventory.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly operational reports for senior management review.
