Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruitment: An HR Manager, when focused on recruitment, spearheads the end-to-end talent acquisition process. They partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs, draft accurate job descriptions, manage sourcing strategies across job boards and professional networks, screen candidates, and oversee the offer and on boarding phases to build strong, capable teams.
- Employee Management: Enforce strict shop-floor discipline, manage grievance redressals, and handle negotiations to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to factory labour laws, wage regulations, and occupational health and safety (OHS) standards unique to casting, melting, and machining operations.
- Talent Acquisition & On boarding: Source and recruit specialised personnel, including metallurgists, foundry technicians, and machine operators, while reducing attrition through effective on boarding programs.
- Workforce Planning: Forecast manpower needs based on production demands and effectively manage the balance between permanent staff and contract labour.
- Training & Development: Coordinate technical training, safety drills, and skill development programs to minimise casting defects and enhance worker productivity.
- ISO Certification: HR Manager plays a foundational role in achieving and maintaining ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) certifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master's degree (like an MBA in HR or MSW) or specialized HR certifications are a major plus.
- Experience: Typically 10 to 15 years of HR management experience, with hands-on exposure to foundry industry.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
