Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Resort Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, increase occupancy, and build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and individual guests. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in hospitality sales, business development, and client relationship management.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve room, banquet, and resort revenue targets.
- Generate new business opportunities through corporate tie-ups, travel agencies, event organizers, wedding planners, and tour operators.
- Identify and acquire new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
- Increase resort occupancy through proactive sales activities and promotional campaigns.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and event organizers.
- Handle client inquiries, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals effectively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Organize client visits, resort tours, and presentations to showcase facilities and services.
Revenue & Event Sales
- Promote resort packages, room bookings, conferences, corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings.
- Work closely with operations and event teams to ensure successful execution of bookings and events.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Marketing & Promotion
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and lead-generation activities.
- Represent the resort at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and industry meetings.
- Support digital marketing initiatives and online sales promotions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Hospitality, Resort, Hotel, or Tourism Sales.
- Strong network of corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong understanding of hospitality sales processes and revenue management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in resort, hotel, club, or hospitality sales is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of local and regional tourism markets will be an advantage.
