Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Operations Manager to lead and streamline the organization's HR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, HR compliance, payroll coordination, HRMS administration, employee documentation, policy implementation, and process improvements while ensuring a seamless employee experience.
The candidate should possess excellent knowledge of labour laws, HR operations, HR analytics, and process automation, along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations
- Manage end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, SOPs, and operational processes.
- Ensure timely issuance of offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, and relieving letters.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and timely salary processing.
- Manage employee benefits, insurance, gratuity, and statutory contributions.
- Handle Full & Final (F&F) settlements within defined timelines.
HRMS & Attendance Management
- Administer HRMS and ensure accurate employee data.
- Monitor attendance, leave records, shift management, and employee self-service portals.
- Generate HR reports and dashboards for management.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations, including:
- EPF
- ESI
- Professional Tax
- Labour Welfare Fund
- Shops & Establishments Act
- POSH Compliance
- Coordinate statutory audits and maintain compliance documentation.
Employee Relations
- Address employee queries related to HR operations, payroll, attendance, and policies.
- Support grievance handling and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
Performance Management
- Coordinate the annual performance appraisal cycle.
- Maintain appraisal records and support compensation revision processes.
- Track employee confirmations and probation reviews.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and present HR MIS reports, including:
- Headcount
- Attrition
- Recruitment status
- Attendance
- Leave reports
- Payroll reports
- HR dashboards
- Analyse HR metrics and recommend process improvements.
Process Improvement
- Drive HR automation and digitisation initiatives.
- Identify operational gaps and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to internal SLAs and HR best practices.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Recruitment, Finance, Admin, IT, and Business Heads.
- Support audits, compliance activities, and organisational projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
- 6–10 years of experience in HR Operations.
- Experience in managing HRMS, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance.
