We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Logistics to lead and oversee our end-to-end logistics and freight operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to identify new market opportunities and expansion plans.
- Supervise day-to-day operations across all departments and ensure business continuity.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of cargo and shipments.
- Oversee warehouse, transport, pricing, sales, and documentation processes.
- Monitor costs, improve profit margins, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage major purchases, contracts, and credit limits with management approval.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and international agents.
- Lead sales and marketing initiatives to acquire new business.
- Oversee pricing strategies and customer quotations.
- Ensure high standards of service quality and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Submit operational reports to management and coordinate with stakeholders for smooth operations.
- Oversee the overall infrastructure and administrative management of the company.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, including leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience in operations management, business development, and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and logistics processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple functions and drive organizational growth.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
