Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and maintaining the School ERP system, including user management and troubleshooting.
- Monitoring and maintaining the school's CCTV surveillance system.
- Providing IT support to management, teachers, administrative staff, and students.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, projectors, and other IT equipment.
- Managing Windows operating systems and software installations.
- Managing Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Maintaining the school's LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, internet connectivity, and network security.
- Coordinating with internet service providers and external vendors whenever required.
- Performing regular system backups and ensuring data security.
- Managing smart classrooms and audio-visual equipment.
- Maintaining inventory of all IT assets and recommending upgrades when necessary.
- Assisting during online examinations, digital classes, school events, and presentations.
- Managing official email accounts and cloud-based services.
- Preparing reports, presentations, dashboards, and other digital documentation for the management.
- Designing posters, certificates, social media creatives, notices, banners, and promotional material using Canva or similar design software.
- Supporting website updates and digital communication platforms.
- Researching and implementing new technologies that improve school operations.
- Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to automate tasks, improve productivity, generate reports, create presentations, troubleshoot technical issues, and solve operational problems efficiently.
- Performing any other IT-related responsibilities assigned by the management.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc. (IT), Diploma in Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Fresh graduates with exceptional technical knowledge and problem-solving skills are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Good understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, TCP/IP, and internet configuration.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and IP camera management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience working with School ERP software (preferred).
- Familiarity with database management and basic SQL (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of cloud storage, file management, and backup solutions.
- Proficiency in Canva or similar graphic design tools.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or similar AI platforms.
- Ability to effectively use AI tools for research, documentation, data analysis, content creation, troubleshooting, workflow automation, and solving day-to-day operational challenges.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
Preferred Skills
Candidates having these skills will be given preference:
- Experience working in a school or educational institution.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Basic website management (WordPress or similar platforms).
- Basic video editing and image editing skills.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools.
- Ability to train teachers and staff in the effective use of technology and AI tools.
