Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Anodizing Plant Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily operations of an aluminium anodizing plant. The candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, managing operators, ensuring process quality, monitoring chemical parameters, achieving production targets, and maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the aluminium anodizing plant.
- Manage, guide, and monitor anodizing operators and production workers.
- Ensure proper execution of anodizing processes including:
- Pre-treatment
- Anodizing
- Colouring (if applicable)
- Sealing process
- Monitor and control process parameters such as:
- Chemical concentration
- pH levels
- Temperature
- Current density and other anodizing parameters
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor chemical consumption, storage, and safe handling practices.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of anodizing tanks, pumps, rectifiers, and other equipment.
- Maintain production reports, chemical logs, and process documentation.
- Train operators on SOPs, safety practices, and manufacturing standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental norms, and 5S standards.
- Reduce production defects, rework, and material wastage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of aluminium anodizing and surface treatment processes.
- Understanding of chemical process control and quality parameters.
- Ability to troubleshoot anodizing process issues.
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in:
- Chemical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgy
- Production Engineering
or any related technical field.
- Candidates with relevant technical experience will also be considered.
Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in aluminium anodizing or metal surface treatment.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an anodizing/surface finishing plant.
- Experience in aluminium packaging or manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Male candidates preferred.
- Age: 28–40 years.
- Strong leadership and operational management skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Compensation
CTC: As per company structure
Expected In-hand Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
(Based on experience, technical knowledge, and interview performance)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
