Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Full Stack Developer with 4–7 years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python backend development and React frontend development, with hands-on knowledge of REST APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and modern software engineering practices.
The role will involve developing new features, improving existing applications, fixing production issues, reducing technical debt, and helping transform MVP or legacy applications into scalable, maintainable, and production-ready systems.
The developer will work closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other development team members.
Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain frontend and backend components of web applications.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python and modern web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Build responsive and maintainable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Develop and integrate secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Build new features and enhance existing application functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to application design decisions.
Backend & API Development
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
- Build RESTful APIs following best practices for validation, error handling, authentication, authorization, and documentation.
- Integrate applications with internal systems, third-party APIs, and cloud services.
- Implement authentication and authorization using technologies such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect, where applicable.
- Optimize API performance and application response times.
- Write modular and reusable Python code.
- Support debugging and resolution of backend and integration issues.
Frontend Development
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.
- Use TypeScript and modern JavaScript to build maintainable frontend applications.
- Develop reusable UI components and follow component-based architecture.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
- Implement appropriate frontend state management and data handling.
- Improve frontend performance and user experience.
- Ensure applications are compatible across supported browsers and devices.
Modernization & Application Improvement
- Refactor existing, legacy, or MVP code to improve maintainability and scalability.
- Identify and address code quality issues and technical debt.
- Improve application modularity, reusability, and testability.
- Support application performance optimization.
- Contribute to improvements in API design, database access, error handling, and logging.
- Participate in efforts to stabilize and improve production applications.
Database Development
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Design and maintain database schemas and application data models.
- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database interactions.
- Work with ORM frameworks and database migration tools.
- Support database schema changes and application data evolution.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is desirable.
Cloud & Platform
- Develop and support applications hosted in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Work with cloud services related to application hosting, storage, identity, and application configuration.
- Support integrations with services such as Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure SQL, and Azure Entra ID, where applicable.
- Follow cloud application development and security best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support application deployments and operational stability.
Testing & Quality
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate with QA teams during functional and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in peer code reviews and pull request reviews.
- Follow coding standards and software engineering best practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
- Support root cause analysis for production issues.
- Ensure appropriate logging and error handling within applications.
DevOps & Engineering Practices
- Work with Git and standard branching and pull request workflows.
- Work with or contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Have hands-on experience or working knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
- Support application deployment and release activities.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on monitoring, logging, and deployment issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Document technical implementation details and design decisions where required.
Required Technical SkillsBackend Development
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.

API Development
- Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of API authentication and authorization.
- Experience with JSON-based integrations.
- Knowledge of API error handling, validation, and performance optimization.
Databases
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Understanding of relational data modelling.
- Experience with ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is preferred.
Cloud & DevOps
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform.
- Familiarity with application hosting, cloud storage, and identity services.
- Experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Docker.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes is desirable.
Engineering Practices
- Clean code and software development best practices.
- Unit and integration testing.

- Understanding of application performance optimization.
