Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Adobe InDesign to create visually appealing and reader-friendly layouts for communication materials such as books, magazines, brochures, and others.
- Edit graphics, including photographs and illustrations, using Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Import text and graphics into publishing software and integrate them to create cohesive pages.
- Adjust text properties such as size, column width, and spacing to achieve desired layouts.
- Revise layouts and make corrections as necessary to meet project requirements.
- Submit final files for printing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Select formatting options such as type size, style, column width, and spacing to enhance readability and aesthetics.
- Scan and edit photographs and other images to ensure optimal quality for publication.
- Prioritize workload effectively under pressure and strict deadlines, organizing tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent certification course in Desktop Publishing (DTP).
- A DTP operator with experience in publication houses will be preferred.
- Proficiency in software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Mathtype.
- Good typing speed in English, Hindi, and Math.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in layout design and text formatting.
