1. Quality Control & Inspection
- Inspect raw materials, in-process castings, and finished products.
- Identify defects like porosity, shrinkage, cracks, and sand inclusion.
2. Process Monitoring
- Monitor foundry processes such as melting, molding, pouring, and cooling.
- Ensure parameters are maintained as per standards.
3. Testing & Analysis
- Conduct tests like hardness testing, chemical composition analysis, and dimensional inspection.
- Use tools like vernier caliper, micrometer, and gauges.
4. Defect Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Work with production team to improve quality and reduce rejection.
5. Documentation
- Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and audit documents.
- Prepare daily and monthly quality reports.
6. Standards & Compliance
Ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards (ISO, etc.).
