About Us
Brain Light Child Development Center is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center dedicated to helping children achieve their developmental potential. We provide Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Education, Behavioral Therapy, and Early Intervention services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, and other developmental conditions.
We are looking for a passionate, child-friendly, and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for children with developmental and sensory needs.
- Work on Sensory Integration, Fine Motor Skills, Gross Motor Skills, ADLs, Hand Function, Visual-Motor Integration, Bilateral Coordination, Balance, and Motor Planning.
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve functional independence.
- Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessments, progress reports, and documentation.
- Educate and counsel parents regarding home programs and therapy goals.
- Collaborate with Speech Therapists, Special Educators, Psychologists, and other professionals.
- Participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, and parent counselling sessions.
- Ensure therapy rooms, equipment, and materials are organized and maintained.
- Stay updated with current pediatric Occupational Therapy practices and professional development.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Pediatric Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in Sensory Integration and Early Intervention.
- Excellent communication and parent counselling skills.
- Ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Strong observation, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Team player with a compassionate and positive attitude.
- Good computer knowledge for maintaining reports and records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT).
- Registration with the appropriate State Occupational Therapy Council (if applicable).
- Freshers with excellent clinical knowledge are welcome to apply.
- Experience in pediatric rehabilitation, therapy centers, hospitals, or special schools will be preferred.
