Role Overview:
The Finance Apprentice will support the Finance Department in daily accounting and financial operations while gaining hands-on exposure to hotel finance processes in line with Taj Hotels’ standards and procedures. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or students pursuing finance or hotel management programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily accounting entries, billing, and invoice processing
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions
- Help in cash handling, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Coordinate with operational departments for financial documentation
- Adhere to company policies, internal controls, and compliance standards
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate or pursuing degree/diploma in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Hotel Management
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity with MS Excel and basic computer applications
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a hospitality environment
