Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Semi-Qualified CA to manage the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, and audit activities. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software, and the ability to ensure accurate financial records and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Finalize books of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare and file statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants during audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Support payroll accounting and statutory deductions.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in finalization of accounts and audit coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter) preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industries is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Experience handling multiple entities or branch accounts is preferred.
Pay: ₹14,300.36 - ₹45,472.82 per month
