About the Role
At The Woodrose Club, we believe exceptional dining experiences begin with great food and skilled culinary craftsmanship. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis 1 – Tandoor / Continental to join our kitchen team. If you have experience in Indian tandoor preparations along with continental cuisine, enjoy working in a dynamic kitchen environment, and take pride in delivering quality dishes consistently, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor dishes including kebabs, tikka, naan, roti, and other Indian specialties or continental dishes such as grills, pastas, sauces, appetizers, and plated mains
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes for all dishes served
- Manage the tandoor/continental section efficiently during service hours.
- Assist in food preparation, marination, and kitchen setup for daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards across all kitchen sections
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory management for ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
- Follow standard recipes and kitchen procedures to maintain quality standards
Who You Are
- You are passionate about both Indian and continental cuisine
- You have hands-on experience in tandoor or continental food preparation
- You take pride in maintaining quality, hygiene, and consistency in every dish
- You can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- You are disciplined, organized, and a strong team player
- You have good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
- Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, clubs, or hospitality kitchens is preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
