About the Role
Zephyr Entrance Coaching Centre is looking for a dedicated, responsible, and student-focused Hostel Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time residential position, and the selected candidate must stay in the hostel premises. The role involves ensuring the overall welfare, discipline, academic support, and daily coordination of students residing in the hostel.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain daily student attendance and follow up on absences.
- Supervise students in the hostel and ensure their safety, well-being, and discipline.
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations fairly and consistently.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, assignments, and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate daily hostel activities and assist in organizing academic and extracurricular programs.
- Support teachers with administrative tasks related to examinations, assignments, and classroom coordination.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents regarding hostel and student-related matters.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and important updates.
- Address parent concerns professionally and escalate issues to the management whenever required.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and emotional support to students while maintaining a positive hostel environment.
- Ensure students follow study schedules, meal timings, and hostel routines.
- Work closely with the academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth hostel operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (preferred).
- Previous experience in teaching, hostel administration, student care, or educational institutions is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to handle students with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Good leadership, discipline management, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to reside in the hostel (Mandatory).
