We are looking for a Senior UI Engineer with hands-on experience designing and coding applications using platforms and technologies such as Typescript, Javascript, React Native, Ionic, etc.
Basic experience building hybrid mobile apps on modern technology stacks such as Typescript, Javascript, React Native, Ionic, etc. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, yet independently able to research and propose technical solutions, deliver multiple assignments independently. Primary responsibilities will be developing and testing mobile applications using React Native and or Ionic. Good written and oral communications skills are essential for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop high quality mobile applications

Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle

Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code

Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

Review and debug code

Write unit and or e2e tests
-
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and clients to fix and improve products

Document development phases and monitor systems

Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies
REQUIREMENTS
-
2+ years experience as a Mobile Apps Developer with Hybrid Technologies such as React Native or Ionic (using Javascript or Typescript)

Object oriented programming knowledge to include developing applications using Javascript and or Typescript with object oriented programming paradigms

Good knowledge on using tools like Git, NPM, GitHub (or equivalent source code management platform), JIRA (or equivalent project management platform) and Confluence (or equivalent documentation platform)

Analytical mind with problem solving aptitude

Ability to work independently
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in web or mobile hybrid application development and architecture

Should have a good understanding of agile software development lifecycle

Should have a good understanding of test driven development
