Sales Executive – Solar PV (Residential & Commercial)
Experience:
1–3 Years (Minimum 1 year in Field Sales / Solar / Electrical / B2C or B2B Sales preferred)
Location: Agra, Banaras, Jaipur, Mohali,Kanpur
Job Summary:
Responsible for generating sales of rooftop solar systems (Residential & Commercial) through field visits, customer interaction, and deal closure, while ensuring proper understanding of customer requirements and coordination with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Generate leads through field visits, references, and local networking
· Conduct site visits and assess customer requirements
· Understand electricity consumption and suggest suitable solar system (kW sizing)
· Explain solar benefits, ROI, and savings to customers
· Prepare and present quotations and proposals
· Handle complete sales cycle: lead → meeting → negotiation → closure
· Follow up with potential customers and convert leads into sales
· Maintain daily activity and sales reports
· Coordinate with tele caller team for assigned leads
· Work closely with Project Execution team for smooth project handover
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships
· Achieve monthly sales targets
Technical Knowledge Required:
· Basic understanding of Solar PV systems (On-grid / Off-grid / Hybrid)
· Knowledge of system components (Panels, Inverter, Structure)
· Basic understanding of electricity bills and unit consumption
· Awareness of Net Metering, Net Billing, and DISCOM approval process
· Ability to explain ROI and payback to customers
Tools & Software:
· MS Excel (Basic reporting & quotation)
· CRM Software (Lead tracking & follow-up)
· Mobile apps for reporting / tracking
Required Skills:
· Strong communication and convincing skills
· Field sales and customer handling ability
· Target-oriented and self-motivated
· Basic technical understanding (training can be provided)
· Good negotiation and closing skills
· Ability to travel and meet customers
Qualification:
· Graduate (Any Stream) (Preferred B.tech - Electrical)
· Diploma / B. Tech (Preferred but not mandatory)
Additional Requirements:
· Own vehicle preferred (for field visits)
· Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings
· Experience in solar / real estate / electrical sales will be an advantage
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
